Coming home from this cocktail event all I could think of was how great the shrimp was. Ideally the shrimp, the sauce, and its freshness made it, but as always I think of ways to spice things up and add taste value. And here came the newest idea in a series of bacon loving recipes!!

8 large, raw and peeled shrimp
Two tablespoons of olive oil
Lime juice (about two tablespoons)
¼ tsp. Chili powder(if like me you made add more this is merely an average)
8 strips of bacon covered in delicious parmesan
Teaspoon of hot sauce
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

1.Place in a bowl the lime juice, olive oil, chili powder and hot sauce.

2.Mix it all together. Put the shrimp in the mixture, making sure each peace is coated. Sprinkle Parmesan

3.Cook bacon till soft not tough or crispy, reason being is it will cook a bit more in the oven

4.Preheat the oven to 450 degrees as well, and eagerly imagine the beauty we are creating

5.With each individual shrimp with care;  wrap the lovely bacon around each piece. Use a toothpick to secure it on a baking pan(lined with foil). Brush remaining mixture on to the outside of the bacon wrapped shrimp.

6.Cook for 15 minutes maintaining patience for the awesomeness that is this item we have enhanced and detailed into a lean mean super bacon machine!!
